Love Handle Workouts About Me

I decided to write this blog initially as my own way of getting motivated to get off by butt. Because, I was just slowly rotting away, going to work each day – just siting at a desk. Driving in rush hour traffic each day – just sitting behind the wheel. Only to come home, eat and plant myself in front of the TV – just sitting in my worn out chair. And as the old line from the “Airplane” movie stated… “and Leo is getting larger!”, referring to my midsection.

Someone smarter than me once said to me: “John, if you want to change some things in your life, you have to change some things in your life

So, I started doing some basic core strength training exercises, started walking the dog more, eating better, etc. and as I got a little bit more into it, added push-ups and planks to my days.  It didn’t really help much, because I was off and on and I wasn’t totally committed.

Eventually, I decided that enough was enough.  I was tired of having a sore back all the time and all the pieces of workout equipment that I had accumulated over the years were haunting me a bit.  And I’m really glad I did.
